When I was younger, I was told I looked like Tori Spelling. Of course, I always add if she had too many doughnuts to eat.

When I was younger I collected dolls and masks.

Somehow, as an adult, I've gotten a collection of Nativity Sets and Crosses.

You were born during a Waxing Crescent moon

This phase occurs right after the New Moon, when we can start to see part of the moon that's illuminated by the sun.

- what it says about you -

You like having a clear vision of the future, and are good at helping people set out plans to accomplish important goals. Once you're done with a task, you're done with it. You don't like revisiting or rehashing issues you think are settled. You're inventive and encourage people around you to be new and different instead of copying from the past.

I have two best friends.  I've know Christina for 24 years.  I've know Cynthia for 21 years.  We are still friends and probably will remain so.

For those wanting to know more about the recent DDoS attacks, yes, it looks like it was the Russian government trying to shut down the dissidents again.

As I said last time, while it's frustrating not to have access, LJ is a lot more than a social network platform. From the article:

"LiveJournal isn’t just a social network. It’s also a platform for organizing civic action. Dozens of network projects and groups mobilize people to solve specific problems — from defending the rights of political prisoners to saving endangered historic architecture in Moscow."

So while I know many are considering the move over to Dreamwidth and other such sites, supporting LJ is a way we can help support those who use it for more than a writing/roleplaying/social venue.

Also, as a FYI, LJ is giving paid users effected by the outage two weeks of paid time as compensation.

You Are 50% Yankee, 50% Dixie

You're a pretty even split of Yankee and Dixie. You've probably traveled around a lot in your life.

You Are a Crossword Puzzle

You are well read, and you have a good head for remembering facts.

You are a wordsmith. You have a way with words, and you're very literate.

You are a mysterious person who enjoys dropping little clues every now and then.

I would probably invite him in and have a drink. I fell for him hard the summer I was in 8th grade. He was older and had a car. His grandparents lived in the same neighborhood as me. We hung out a lot. We clicked and had fun. We joked around, but we also fought. I remember one particular fight where we were in the middle of the street yelling at each other. He got in his car and sped off. He didn't come back for three whole day, which in teenage terms, is an eternity. We had great conversations. He sang "I'd Die Without You" (by PM Dawn) to me. He grabbed my arm while he was in his car because I had hit him for something he said. He started driving with me in tow. It wasn't fast and I probably learned a lesson of sorts. When it came time for him to graduate, he told me that he couldn't date me because I would probably leave and we would have to break up. He is a pharmacist now, which is what he always wanted to do. I wish him the best, but I'm glad that I wound up with Spart!

Happy New Year's Eve!  I wish all my friends a wonderful and prosperous new year.  I hope that Spart and I have an even better  year than 2010.  We shall see how it all pans out over the next twelve months.  *smoochies*

I am thankful for my two best friends, Christina and Sin-D.  They both know and love me no matter what.  Christina has known me for about 25 years and has stuck around.  Sin-D has known me for 20 and hasn't run off screaming.  They are very different, but we all get along great.  I love them, and they make my world a happier place.
